WHY IS HE YELLING?

Do I agree with everything he says in this memo?

No.

Do I agree that using ALL CAPS is an effective way to yell at someone on paper?

Yes.

I had another video I was going to do for today but due to technical difficulties it didn’t happen. Since I’m still deep into writing my script and tapped out as far as actually typing insightful thoughts, I thought maybe you’d be interested to read David Mamet’s insightful thoughts from 2005. If you’ve already read it (likely, considering this letter went viral before that was really much of a thing), it’s still worth another look.

It’s fairly condescending and boy, do I feel for the writers of The Unit, but there are some true gems in here.

Also, if you manage to read this without feeling like this man is yelling every word at you, you get a gold star.
